'ISAM' - Full album with track-by-track commentary from Amon Tobin

Amon Tobin posted his entire new album (ISAM) and then left comments to describe the tracks and his methods - a particularly useful insight considering the highly experimental tinkering Mr Tobin employs. This is what Soundcloud interaction should be.

Amon Tobin – “At the End of the Day”

The whole concept behind the amazing Foley Room album was great. Mr. Tobin created tracks almost exclusively from obscure live sounds he sampled during extensive touring for the eqully diabolical Out From Out Where . The “lost footage” from the actual CD (yes, people still buy CDs) is a great featurette of Amon recording wasps buzzing, lions growling, Harleys idling and giant radar dishes spinning. Inspirational to watch. Incredibly detailed to listen. Definitely headphone music.
