I am totally not cool with this.SiriusXM decided to drop BBC Radio1 without notice. This being one of the 2 channels I regularly listen to has really struck a nerve. The timing couldn’t be less relevant (um, London UK Riots) to have a popular UK Radio station giving color commentary. Despite the trite “note to Radio 1 listeners,” there is no substitute.This is the only radio station that actually plays true new music. Where was dubstep in 2003? On John Peel’s show. Where can you actually hear live shows and insightful interviews? Just about every weekday with Zane Lowe. How ‘bout the latest in dance/bass music? Try Thursday through Sunday. Seriously, Sirius. I’m cancelling my subscription due to your “forward thinking” by removing an actual forward thinker.
